About the Club
AshGold Football Club is a player-development soccer club based in Middle Tennessee. Established in 2026, the club is competing in its inaugural season in the United Premier Soccer League’s Kentucky-Tennessee Conference, with teams in the Premier Men’s Division and Division 1.
AshGold was created to provide talented players with a serious environment in which to develop, compete and prepare for opportunities at higher levels of the game. While winning matters, our purpose extends beyond league results and trophies. We are building a pathway centered on player development, meaningful exposure and legitimate opportunities for evaluation and advancement.
Led by founder and Sporting Director Kwadwo Poku, a former professional player and Ghana international, AshGold combines professional experience with a clear understanding of what players need to move forward. We cannot guarantee what comes next for any player, but we are committed to developing them properly, opening doors where our relationships allow and giving them the opportunity to earn their next step.
Why AshGold?
AshGold was built on a simple belief: talent alone is not enough. A talented player still needs the right development, mentorship, exposure and opportunity to be seen by people who can help move his career forward.
Our founder and Sporting Director, Kwadwo Poku, has lived that journey himself. He began in the amateur ranks before someone recognized his potential and gave him an opportunity. With the right environment and the chance to prove himself, he went on to play professionally in the United States and abroad and represent Ghana internationally.
That experience is the foundation of AshGold. We exist to identify potential, develop players properly, and create legitimate opportunities for them to be evaluated. We cannot promise where any opportunity will lead, but we can prepare players, open doors where our relationships allow, and give them the chance to earn what comes next.
